Recreate NZ presents the Illuminate Night Market, a unique event that provides an all-inclusive, free event for the community to celebrate the talents and value of people with diverse abilities. Illuminate is a night market with a twist, set apart by the fact that all stallholders come from either a disability background or a community that actively challenges the status quo. Some of the stallholders have emerged through the Recreate's MOXIE work-skills programme, while others come from our wide-reaching network of young people forging a path to employment.
Come and enjoy this free event for all ages and all walks of life. Market stalls, food trucks, creative workshops, family activities, live performances and more!!
This awesome venue is situated next to Rocket Park, Mt Albert Senior Citizens Hall and the Mt Albert Recreation Centre. The Outerlink bus stops right outside and Baldwin train station is just around the corner! Parking is available along Wairere Avenue, Councillors Drive and on Selcourt Road.
