Are you thinking of recording an oral history interview with a family member or on a topic of interest? Then this course is for you. We’ll focus on the what, why and how of oral history audio recordings; examine what ‘good practice’ sounds like; explore ethics and future use agreements; and learn interviewing and technical recording skills.
You should leave feeling ready to give it a go with a framework of best practice! The workshop is facilitated by Sue Berman, Auckland Council Libraries Curator Oral History and Sound.
