Reretewhioi Marae, 83 Tahurangatira Road, Karioitahi, Waiuku, Auckland

On the day: parking will be in Reretewhioi carpark or on side of the road. Meeting at the carpark at 9:30am, from there we will be walking through the nearby paddock to the planting site. Workers in high viz will be around to direct traffic/parking

You're invited to help protect and restore the waterways in Awhiu. We are holding native planting days to restore the riperian margin at Rangiriri and on the Awaruaiti.

This programme is a part of the Te Korowai o Papatuuaanuku a programme funded by Te Uru Rākau in patnership with Ngaati Te Ata, Awhitu Peninsula Landcare and Auckland Council to propogate and plant over 250,000 eco-sourced native plants around the Awhitu peninsula.

- Karakia
- Korero/history of the whenua 
- Planting demonstrations
- Plantings
- Kai Ranui
- Paanui  

Please bring gloves, sturdy, outdoor footwear, water bottle and a raincoat.

Food will be provided as a thank you for all your hard work!
