Discover Auckland Through Art.
The tour highlights a rich mix of modern and contemporary works, with a focus on welcoming new immigrants into Auckland’s vibrant cultural landscape.
You'll gain fresh perspectives on the city’s public artworks that are free to enjoy and deeply connected to local communities. The tour aims to bridge cultures, spark dialogue, and strengthen the connection between people and place.
Four tours will be offered: two in English and two in Mandarin, with weekday and weekend options available. All sessions cover the same content – please book only one.
Open to ages 15 and over. Spaces are limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot.
The tour begins at the Central City Library front entrance and concludes at The Lighthouse on Queens Wharf. Be prepared to walk 2–3 km. Please wear a hat and comfortable footwear, and bring a water bottle.

诚邀您参加市中心图书馆组织的公共艺术导览，跟随资深艺术专家一起深入探索奥克兰丰富多元的艺术面貌。本项目旨在促进文化交流、激发对话，并加深人们与所在城市之间的联结。通过这艺术导览，您将获得全新视角，深入了解奥克兰这座城市的文化脉络与艺术精粹。
我们特别设置了四场导览——两场英文，两场中文（普通话），重点服务新移民群体让更多人能够轻松参与并享受艺术。
开放给15岁及以上人士， 名额有限，请尽早报名以确定席位。
导览将在市中心图书馆门口集合，终点为皇后码头的“The Lighthouse”雕塑。 本次导览全程步行，预计行走2至3公里。请穿着舒适的鞋子，佩戴帽子，并携带饮用水。

The presenter, Meijing He, is an arts specialist with over 20 years of experience across visual, performing, design, and literary arts. Her career spans cultural leadership, programming, and international advisory work.
Meijing holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Arts Management from City University, London. She has a deep interest in how art shapes public life, bridges cultures, and enriches both cities and the personal experience of a place.
何美婧是一位拥有20余年经验的艺术专业人士，涉猎领域广泛，涵盖视觉艺术、表演艺术、设计与文学艺术。她在文化领导、项目策划以及国际顾问工作方面拥有丰富的经历。
何美婧毕业于中央美术学院艺术史专业，后获得英国伦敦城市大学艺术管理硕士学位。她对艺术如何塑造公共生活、连接不同文化，以及丰富城市和个体的空间体验抱有浓厚兴趣。
