Kenneth Brummel is an internationally acclaimed curator with over 15 years of experience at major art museums in Canada, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the USA. He co-curated Picasso: Painting the Blue Period at The Phillips Collection in 2021-2022, which was named a top-ten international exhibition by The Wall Street Journal.
At Auckland Art Gallery, he curates The Robertson Gift: Paths through Modernity, a major display of modernist works. A specialist in 19th- and 20th-century art, his research on technical art history has been featured in The New York Times and Artforum. Kenneth holds a Master’s in Art History from The University of Chicago.
