Auckland Council Libraries bring the Mobile Library South and East to Maraetai Drive outside the Twice Loved Op Shop on a Wednesday morning.
The Mobile Library South and East is a full-sized bus that has books for children, teens and adults.
The mobile library is a pickup location for items ordered online – just look for Mobile South & East in the alphabetical list of libraries.
When visiting the mobile library you can:
- Return items borrowed from Auckland Libraries branches
- Return items borrowed from a mobile library
- Pick up items requested online
- Browse collections for children, teens, and adults
- Get information about digital resources (including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines)
Items borrowed from the mobile library can be returned to the mobile library, or to any branch of Auckland Libraries.

The mobile library service is part of Auckland Council Libraries. To use the service all you need is your FREE Auckland Libraries card.
