List an event

OurAuckland promotes events from across the Auckland region that are delivered, sponsored, funded, facilitated or supported by Auckland Council, as well as charity and fundraising events, and free community events.

List your event with OurAuckland. This digital form is required for any event to be promoted via our website, e-newsletter or magazine (currently on hold, see below for information).

We recommend using the Google Chrome browser to list an event.

Please check our user guide for listing events before completing the form and if you need assistance while submitting an event. Alternatively, email ourauckland@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz

Once your event has been submitted, it will be listed on our website and can be considered for inclusion in the OurAuckland monthly magazine (currently on hold, see below for information) and weekly OurAuckland E-news

The inclusion of events is at the discretion of OurAuckland and priority is given to Auckland Council events.

Please note: If your event is submitted less than a week prior to the event taking place, we may not be able to publish it. 

OurAuckland magazine on hold

Production of the OurAuckland magazine has been on hold since Level 4 restrictions for magazine distribution were confirmed on 27 March 2020. Like community newspapers and weekly magazines, delivery of OurAuckland was not considered an essential service.

From late 2018 until March 2020, OurAuckland was produced with Bauer Media.  On 2 April this year, Bauer Media announced their closure. Due to these unprecedented changes to the media landscape, we are now looking into options for the future of the magazine.

In the meantime, OurAuckland information can still be accessed via this website where we regularly post news and events. You can also sign up to our e-newsletter for a weekly update on what is happening around our region.
