The NZ National Bonsai Exhibition will show case the very best of NZ native trees and traditional bonsai trees such as pines and maples. The event is suitable for all ages, providing an insight into the patience, dedication and care that our local bonsai artists have bestowed on these grand old trees.
Members of Auckland Bonsai Society will be available to answer any questions about the art of bonsai from curious viewers.
There will be trade tables with locally hand made bonsai pots from New Zealand's premier potters, along with specialist bonsai tools for the pruning and care of these special trees.
The exhibition is located in The Domes event rooms at Auckland Zoo. Parking is available in the carparks surrounding the Zoo or there are buses available.
