Personality:

Aries is a sweet natured girl. She loves her soft toys and will keep herself amused with playtime. She loves a good game of tug-o-war and will grunt playfully when trying to get the toy back. 

 

 

Tamariki – 10+ as loud noises are still scary.
Cats – Not really interested in the shelter cats.

Kūri – She can be a bit rude in her approach, hasn't learnt good manners yet.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 5.5kgs. Likely to mature medium - large in size.

 

Ideal home:

Aries would do so well in a home that prioritises ongoing training and socialisation. She is a typical pup that needs lots of love, good boundaries and a decent amount of exercise and enrichment to help her grow into the best girl.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
