Listing an event

OurAuckland promotes events from across the Auckland region that are delivered, sponsored, funded, facilitated or supported by Auckland Council, as well as charity and fundraising events, and free community events.

List your event with OurAuckland here. This digital form is required for any event to be promoted via our website, e-newsletter or magazine. If you need assistance while submitting an event, please email ourauckland@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz

Once your event has been submitted, it will be listed on our website and can be considered for inclusion in the bimonthly OurAuckland magazine (if submitted by the deadline – see below) and weekly OurAuckland e-news (sign up here). The inclusion of events is at the discretion of OurAuckland and priority is given to Auckland Council events.

The submission deadlines above are for magazine consideration only.

Events can be submitted for online listings at any time, but should be submitted at least a week prior to the event taking place to ensure we can publish it in time.

For the weekly e-news, which is sent out each Wednesday afternoon and covers events happening over the week ahead (Thursday to Wednesday), events need to be submitted by Friday of the preceding week to be considered for inclusion.
