About Disco

Personality:

 

Disco is on the shy side and needs help to nbuild her confidence up. Once she is comfortable with you, she blossoms into a bubbly, social little lass. 

 

Tamariki – 5+ due to puppy behaviours.

Cats – Followed the cat around, confident cats preferred.

Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 2.2kgs. Likely to mature medium to large in size.

We are looking for a kind, caring home that will prioritise ongoing training and socialisation.

 

In accordance with the Dog Control Act 1996, Disco will be classified as Menacing by Breed and will need to adhere to the conditions attached to this.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
