About Ellie:
Just like her namesake, Ellie is a perfect mix of confident and bubbly. This girl is a big sook and loves to lean into your leg for a good butt scratch. Ellie loves the outdoors and will be the perfect companion on all sorts of exciting adventures.
Ellie is full of energy and would thrive in an active home where she can get lots of exercise and outdoor enrichment. While Ellie is an older pup, we still recommend puppy school and further training where she can learn the basic skills and boundaries she needs. Training is a great way to keep a high energy dog like Ellie enriched while simultaneously helping her bond with her new family.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
