Personality:
Erebus is a big, goofy bundle of legs, love and puppy energy wrapped up in one handsome Huntaway package. Even though he is close to a year old, he still has that floppy, bouncy puppy vibe and approaches life with pure excitement and enthusiasm. Whether he is zooming around the yard, chasing toys or soaking up attention from his humans, Erebus is guaranteed to keep a smile on your face. After a good play session he can happily settle and relax on his own, but overall he is a high energy lad who would thrive in an active home ready to include him in all of life’s adventures when he is ready.
Tamariki – 16+ as he needs good structure and boundaries through his foundation training.
Cats – No cats, they look fun to chase.
Kūri – Further social skills needed but could do well with a older, respectful dog.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 20.4kgs and is pretty much fully grown.
Ideal home:
Erebus doesn't seem to have had a lot of structure in his life so far, so he is currently learning all the basics and figuring out what it means to be a well mannered companion. He will need an experienced and active family who are ready to take on a big puppy with plenty of energy, while continuing his training and providing consistent boundaries to help him succeed. Erebus is also working on his manners around other dogs and could benefit from having a calm, balanced dog to help show him the ropes. With time, patience and ongoing guidance, his future family will be rewarded with a fun loving, loyal boy who genuinely loves life and will always make you smile.
Ready for a lifetime of laughs, adventures and oversized puppy cuddles? Erebus is waiting to meet you.
