Personality:
This lovely girl has a soft and sensitive nature and can be a little timid when faced with new situations, but underneath that cautious exterior is a puppy who absolutely adores affection, kindness, and the people she learns to trust. Once she feels safe, Fuji melts into pats and enjoys being close to her humans, soaking up all the love and reassurance she can get.
She is a quiet little explorer, curious about the world around her and eager to learn at her own pace. Fuji is still finding her confidence and will need a patient family willing to guide her gently and celebrate all the little wins along the way.
Tamariki – 10+ due to resource guarding and need for confidence building.
Cats – Was interested to watch cat but didn't follow.
Kūri – Timid. Prefer no dog home or slow, quiet intros.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 14.5kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Fuji is looking for an experienced home that can continue supporting her confidence building and help her work through some resource guarding around food. She would do best with a calm, quiet dog companion or in a home without other dogs, allowing her the space and support to settle in and grow in confidence at her own pace. With gentle guidance, patience, and consistency, Fuji has all the makings of a deeply loyal and loving companion.
Looking for a gentle best friend with a heart of gold? Fuji is waiting patiently to meet her person ✨
