Personality:

Gemini is a sweet soul just looking for someone to love her. She can be a little shy but in the right home she will blossom. She looks to her humans for reassurance and is slowly learning that toys are fun, except those squeaky ones, they are scary!

 

Tamariki – 10+ as she needs to build confidence is a quiet space.
Cats – No cats, she is fearful of them. 

Kūri – She needs further work to be fully comfortable with other dogs but is learning.
Stock/poultry – No stock or poultry. 
Size – Currently 10.5kgs, almost fully grown.

 

Ideal home:

This gorgeous girl is coming out of her shell at the adoption centre and is just starting to show us her sparkly personality. She would do well in a quiet household that can continue building her confidence and provide ongoing training and socialisation. She will need an active home with some dog experience to help her become her best self.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
