Personality:
Gizmo is a stunning young lad with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Full of life, fun, and affection, he is always ready to join in whatever is happening and would love a family that includes him in their day to day adventures. Whether it's heading out for a walk, exploring somewhere new, or simply spending time with his people, Gizmo is happiest when he is part of the action.
This handsome boy loves attention and is never shy about asking for it. He is playful, entertaining, and can often be found happily tossing his toys around to keep himself occupied or to convince someone to join in the fun. Gizmo has a lovely affectionate side too and enjoys spending quality time with the people he trusts. With his good looks, playful nature, and zest for life, he is sure to bring plenty of laughter and companionship to his future home.
Tamariki – 10+ as he learns his manners and handling.
Cats – No cats.
Kūri – He approaches directly then looses interest. Further socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 30.3kgs and is fully grown.

Gizmo is looking for an active home that can keep both his body and mind engaged. He will thrive with regular exercise, ongoing training, and plenty of opportunities for enrichment and learning. A family that enjoys getting out and about, while also providing clear boundaries and guidance, will help him reach his full potential. In return, Gizmo promises to be a loyal, loving companion who is always ready for the next adventure. 🐾

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
