Personality:
Hampshire is playful, curious, and full of life, she brings a cheerful energy wherever she goes. She loves her solo toy time just as much as playing with her favourite people, always finding ways to keep herself entertained. A little explorer at heart, she enjoys discovering the world around her and taking everything in.
She can get a bit excitable at times, but responds well to gentle correction and settles nicely, showing she has a great foundation to build on. When the fun winds down, she is more than happy to soak up cuddle time, making her the perfect mix of playful and affectionate.
Tamariki – 5+ as she can get excitable.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly. needs ongoing socialisation due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 8.8kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Hampshire would thrive in an experienced home committed to ongoing training, socialisation, and plenty of enrichment to keep both her mind and body engaged. She will do best with someone who understands the importance of consistency, clear boundaries, and positive guidance to help her continue to grow into a well balanced adult dog.
A great owner for her is someone patient and present, who will invest time in building a strong bond, provide structure, and make learning fun. Someone who enjoys getting out and about, mixing adventures with play and downtime, and who will celebrate her playful spirit while helping her channel her energy in the right way.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
