Personality 

Hot Dog is a very playful pup who loves her toys and a good zoomie, but she also has the sweetest nature. She enjoys spending time with her people, brings lots of joy wherever she goes, and is always ready for both fun and cuddles.

Tamariki – 5+ due to energy level and training needs
Cats – Need a confident cat and proper introductions
Kūri – Further socialisation needed
Stock/poultry – Not tested; would need the right introductions
Size – Expected to grow medium–large

Ideal home

Hot Dog is looking for a breed-experienced home that can continue her training and confidence-building journey. She will thrive with adopters who are committed to ongoing socialisation, and puppy school would be ideal to help her continue developing good manners and positive experiences.
Having an older, well-balanced canine sibling would be a big bonus, as it would help guide her and build her confidence in the world around her.

Important information:

In accordance with the Dog Control Act 1996, Hot Dog will be classified as Menacing by Breed, which means her new owners will need to understand and comply with the conditions that come with this classification.
If you’re experienced, committed, and ready to give Hot Dog the guidance and support she needs, she could be a wonderful addition to your family.
