Personality:
Humbug is a confident, full of life young lady who approaches every day with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. She absolutely adores people and would happily choose cuddles and affection over toys any day of the week. Full of kisses and always keen to be close to her favourite humans, Humbug is a social butterfly who loves being part of the action and making new friends wherever she goes.
Tamariki – 5+ years while he implements the manners he is learning.
Cats – Ok with cats with proper intros and training.
Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 3.8kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Humbug is the kind of dog who will fit into most homes with ease. Like all young dogs, she will benefit from puppy school, ongoing training, socialisation, and plenty of enrichment to help her grow into the best version of herself. With her loving nature, confidence, and joyful outlook on life, Humbug is sure to bring endless smiles to her future family.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
