Personality:
Jet Plane is a beautiful soul who who has been through a tough time. She has come out of her shell and is excited to be alive, full of good food and getting the attention she deserves. She can have high stimulation levels in the kennel environment and we are working on learning calm energy and 'cafe' style training while she can just sit quietly with you while you go about your day.
She loves people, soaking up cuddles and all the chin scratches.
Tamariki – 10+ while she learns her manners and builds confidence.
Cats – Interested. Confident cats ok with supervision and training.
Kūri – Rude on first meet but looses interest/intensity quickly.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 18.8kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
Jet Plane would love an experienced and patient home that can help continue learning impulse control through positive experiences, training and socialisation. Previous dog ownership experience is preferred, as she will benefit from guidance and boundaries while she settles into her new life. We also highly recommend crate training and learning that separation is a good thing and that you will always come back for her.
She is looking for a family who understands that the best relationships take time, and who will give her the time she needs to blossom into the wonderful companion she is destined to be.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
