Personality:
Jet Plane is a gentle soul who prefers to take her time getting to know new people. While she may seem a little reserved at first, once you earn her trust you'll discover the sweetest companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She loves following her favourite people from room to room, soaking up cuddles, chin scratches, and finding the comfiest spot nearby to rest her head. With her calm nature and affectionate heart, Jet Plane is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your life and never leaves your side.
Tamariki – 10+ while she learns her manners and builds confidence.
Cats – Interested. Confident cats ok with supervision and training.
Kūri – Rude on first meet but looses interest/intensity quickly.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 18.8kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
Jet Plane would love a patient home that can help continue building her confidence through positive experiences, training, and socialisation. Previous dog ownership experience is preferred, as she will benefit from gentle guidance while she settles into her new life. She is looking for a family who understands that the best relationships take time, and who will give her the space she needs to blossom into the wonderful companion she is destined to be.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
