Personality:

 

Tiny in size but overflowing with love, Licorice is an absolute heart melter. This sweet little girl adores people and believes any attention is good attention. She will happily snuggle in close whenever she gets the chance and is never far from your side if cuddles are on offer. As she starts to grow in confidence, her curious nature is beginning to shine, and she loves taking her time to sniff, explore, and discover all the exciting things the world has to offer.

 

Tamariki – 5+ and dog savvy while she grows in confidence and learns foundations.
Cats – Cats ok.

Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed due to age. 
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 3.7kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

Being just a baby, Licorice is ready to start building the foundations for a wonderful future. Puppy school, ongoing training, socialisation, and plenty of positive experiences will help her continue to grow into a confident, well rounded companion. With gentle guidance, consistency, and lots of love, this little girl is sure to blossom into a truly special best friend.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
