Lisa Owen
Looking for the right home, not just any home 🐾
About Lisa Owen
- Huntaway, Cross
- Female
- Good with children
- 2 years
- Can live with other dogs
- Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre
Personality:
Lisa Owen may be a little reserved when you first meet her, but give her a little time, some gentle encouragement and you'll discover the playful girl hiding underneath. Once she feels comfortable, she lights up with a cheeky game of chase and a personality that is well worth waiting for.
Tamariki – 10+ and dog savvy as she needs consistency and positive experiences.
Cats – No cats.
Kūri – She can be quite boisterous and forward. Would match with a well balanced older dog.
Stock/poultry – Untested but likely to chase due to breed and prey drive.
Size – Currently 22.2kgs and is fuly grown.
Ideal home:
She is looking for a kind, patient and loving home that will help her grow in confidence while encouraging her to embrace the world around her. A home with previous high energy or working breed experience would be ideal, with people who understand how to guide her with calm leadership, ongoing training and plenty of positive adventures. If you're willing to give Lisa Owen the time she needs, she'll reward you with a loyal heart and a friendship that only grows stronger with every day.
Sometimes the very best dogs are the ones who simply need someone to believe in them first.
