Personality:
Melody is one very special little soul, and her temperament tester had some seriously lovely things to say about her, calling her “one of the most well rounded pups I have met so far!” She is a happy, curious and cheeky little girl who loves discovering the world around her and bringing plenty of puppy joy along the way. She has a gorgeous, easy going nature and that sweet personality is only made more adorable by her incredible heterochromia eyes. One blue, one brown and absolutely impossible to forget!
Tamariki – Any age provided proper intros and supervision.
Cats – Ok with cats provided proper intros and training.
Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 4.2kgs. Likely to mature medium to large.
Ideal home:
Melody has all the makings of a wonderful lifelong companion and could happily slot into a wide range of homes. As a young pup, she will need all the usual puppy guidance, including ongoing training, positive socialisation, enrichment and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Keep her little brain busy, give her good boundaries and shower her with love, and she will be well on her way to becoming the superstar we know she can be.
With those eyes, that personality and a whole lot of puppy charm, Melody is ready to make someone’s world a whole lot brighter.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
