About Pāeroa

Personality:

 

Looks and spark, Paeroa has it all. He lights up when he sees you and does excited zoomies until you get dizzy watching him. He then settles into play and loves interacting with toys and people. Once play is done, he becomes the sweetest, softest cuddle bug and just wants to sit in your lap staring up at you with those big dark soulful eyes. 

 

Tamariki – Ok with all kids provided correct intros and supervision.
Cats – Seemed uninterested in shelter cat.

Kūri – Friendly and social.
Stock/poultry – Not tested.
Size – Currently 8kgs and is fully grown. 

 

Ideal home:

 

A home that will love and cherish him while also providing ample exercise and boundaries is the perfect home for him. He is busy and wants to be involved in everything you do. He is a smart cookie so ongoing training and enrichment would be a bonus.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
