Personality:
Pinocchio is a thoughtful little lad who takes in the world around him with bright eyes and a wagging tail. He is quick to learn and loves using his clever puppy brain, already picking up cues like sit and down with ease. Whether he is investigating something new or watching what his people are doing, he is always engaged and ready for his next adventure.
Gentle and loving by nature, Pinocchio thrives on companionship and enjoys being close to his humans. He is happiest trotting along beside you, carrying around his favourite cuddly toy or cashing in treats for a job well done. With his affectionate personality and eager to please attitude, this handsome boy is going to make a wonderful lifelong companion.
Tamariki – Any age provided proper intros and supervision.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 7.5kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Pinocchio could fit beautifully into most homes that are ready for all the fun and commitment that comes with raising a puppy. Continued puppy training, socialisation, enrichment, and positive experiences will help this bright young boy continue growing into a confident and well rounded adult dog. He would love a home where he can be included in daily life, learn new things, and enjoy plenty of cuddles along the way.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
