Platypus (ON HOLD)
Part genius, part goof ball - That's our girl Platypus!
About Platypus (ON HOLD)
- Australian Cattle, Cross
- Female
- Good with children
- 2 years and 1 month
- Can live with cats
- Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre
Personality:
Platypus is toy obsessed. She loves them and will try and stuff as many as she can in her mouth... who needs to breathe right?! She will carry them around and proudly show them off until the treats come out, then it's 50/50 what is higher priority.
Tamariki – Any age provided proper intro's and supervision.
Cats – Interested but had a sniff and walked away, prefer confident cats.
Kūri – She hasn't learnt correct manners when meeting dogs and can be overly playful. Ongoing socialisation will be important for her.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 23.5kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
This fun loving girl is looking for a home that will help support her to learn new things like positive intro's to dogs and new tricks. A home with previous knowledge or experience with the breed will be great, working dogs need an added layer of exercise and enrichment to keep them busy and happy.
With the right care, she will make a house into a home and will be the missing puzzle piece you didn't know you needed.
