About Rangitoto

  • Huntaway, American Pit Bull Terrier
  • Female
  • Good with children
  • 5 months
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Rangitoto is such a fun, interactive, smiley girl. She loves people and is happiest when playing with you. She can be a little excitable/jumpy but she listens to correction and is so willing to please.

Tamariki – 5+ as she can be a little boisterous for little ones.
Cats – No cats, has shown a desire to chase.

Kūri – Great with dogs but loves people more and just wants to greet the handler.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 14.3kgs. Likely to mature medium in size.

Ideal home:

Her ideal home is with a whānau that understands the needs of high energy dogs or pit bull types. She needs nice boundaries, on going training and an active home than will give her lots of exercise and enrichment.

If your home is missing a little extra joy and adventure, Rangitoto might be the perfect fit.
