About Rapunzel

  • Border Collie, Cross
  • Female
  • Good with children
  • 8 months
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Rapunzel is a sweet little soul with a soft and gentle nature. Sooky, shy and a little timid at first, she can find new environments, loud noises, and busy movement a bit overwhelming. Once she starts to feel safe and comfortable, her lovely personality begins to shine through. She enjoys curling up beside her people for cuddles, happily soaking up affection, and is the perfect size for cosy lap snuggles. Underneath that shy exterior is a loving little companion just waiting to blossom.

Tamariki – 10+ while she builds confidence.
Cats – Not yet assessed.

Kūri – Friendly and social. A well mannered dog would be helpful to build confidence.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 9.8kgs and is almost fully grown.

Ideal home:

Rapunzel is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace and continue building confidence with gentle guidance and reassurance. She would thrive in a calm household that can provide positive experiences, ongoing training and slow socialisation without overwhelming her. A home that celebrates the little wins and gives her time to feel safe will help this gorgeous girl truly come out of her shell.

Tiny princess energy with a heart ready to bloom 🌸
