Personality:

 

Secretariat is a happy go lucky pup, the most confident and outgoing of the litter. He loves exploring new places and meeting new people. Loves toys and could entertain himself for hours. 

 

Tamariki – Any age, this boy is confident and happy.
Cats – Interested to say hi then got bored. Confident cats ok.

Kūri – Friendly and keen to meet, needs ongoing socialisation due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 2.9kgs. Likely to mature medium to large in size.

 

Ideal home:

 

This guy could fit well in most households. Puppy school and socialisation is important for all puppies so a home that would prioritise this would be ideal. He would love to go on car rides and explore the world at your side.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
