About Taurus (ADOPTED)

  • Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Cross
  • Female
  • 1 year
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Can live with cats
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Taurus has not had the best start to life. Despite this, she is super sweet and wanting love. Once she gets to know you, she is an absolute cuddle bug! She can be a bit shy and nervous in new environments and is a tad hand shy but we are working through this with her.

Tamariki – No kids. She needs a quiet environment and slow movements to help build her confidence.
Cats – She couldn't care less about the shelter cats.

Kūri – She is friendly and social.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently she is 19.5kgs and is almost fully grown.

Ideal home:

Taurus needs a home who will walk beside her step by step, giving her new experiences and introductions to the big wide world in a calm and controlled manner. In turn, she will reward you with her playful personality and fun/cheeky attitude when she trusts you. We are confident she can work through her current hesitations and be an amazing family member in the right home.
