About Turtle

  • Mastiff, Cross
  • Female
  • Good with children
  • 2 years and 6 months
  • Can live with cats
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Turtle is a sweet, affectionate girl. She has clearly had a few litters but not to worry, she has now been desexed so those days are behind her. She can focus on her future now and finding somewhere she will be cherished. She loves her tennis ball and becomes an acrobat to try and catch it! She loves people and toys equally. She will lean into your legs (and almost push you over) in the hopes of a good butt scratch.

** Please note Turtle does have a minor skin condition which has been treated. **

Tamariki – 10+ while she settles in an learns that she is safe now.
Cats – She watched the cat but soon lost interest. Confident cats preferred.

Kūri – She doesn't seem to want to interact with other dogs, would do best as an only dog.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 31.7kgs and is fully grown.

Ideal home:

A home with previous dog experience, that will love and cherish her like she deserves is at the top of our list. We encourage enrichment and ensuring you set her up well with a good routine, boundaries and enrichment. She is part playful and part cuddle bug so moderate exercise and fetch games will suit her.

Could you be her safe space?
