Breaking news... Vaughn Smith has entered the building, and trust us, he's worth tuning in for.

Friendly, playful and absolutely full of beans, Vaughn is the kind of pup who brings energy and laughter wherever he goes. Just like his namesake, he has a way of brightening your day and making people smile and laugh wherever he goes.

Once he's burnt off some of that puppy energy, Vaughn transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug who would much rather soak up your attention than entertain himself with toys. He can get a little overexcited and forget his manners, but he responds well to calm, patient guidance and is already showing how eager he is to learn.

Tamariki – 10+ while he learns his manners.
Cats – Ok with cats with proper intros and supervision.

Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 6.45kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:

  • Vet check
  • First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
  • Microchipping
  • De-sexing
  • Registration
  • Bath
  • Flea and worm treatment
  • 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur

Things you need to know:

  • All members of the family  - including dogs -  are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
  • If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
