Nau mai, haere mai!
Join us at Scroggy Stream to put native plants in the ground, which can:
- add stability to the stream banks
- absorb water in heavy rain
- provide a healthy habitat for our native birds and critters.
We'll be working in Matangirua / Chettle Reserve, close to Bunnings Warehouse, New Lynn. It's our first step in transforming this stream into a haven for native birds and critters, and ensuring it flows well during changeable weather.
Kids welcome but must be supervised.
Please bring:
- sturdy closed-toe shoes
- gardening gloves
- rain jacket
- sun hat.
We'll finish with some kai together at the end.
