This hands-on workshop invites you to create a 1970s inspired sculptural object in clay, designed as a vase or small decorative lamp form.
All materials are provided, including clay, tools and slips/underglazes. Firing is also included and managed by the artists and Northart Gallery.
Suitable for beginners, the workshop covers:
- basic hand-building techniques
- retro-inspired form-making
- surface texturing
- an introduction to drying and firing processes.
Finished works will be bisque fired and returned for collection. Pickup is Saturday 1 August, 1-4pm unless alternative arrangements are made in advance.
