Join Whimsy & Co. Studio in a hands-on workshop where tamariki will create their own shimmering, story-filled planisphere inspired by Matariki.
They will be led through imaginative prompts to transform memories and dreams into stars, symbols and tiny visual worlds. Using a mix of materials, they will construct and decorate a rotating star wheel, layering on colour, texture and details to evoke their stories. The workshop will emphasise artistic freedom, abstract thinking and personal voice.
Each child will leave with a magical artwork - a small constellation of their own past, present and possibilities to come. For ages 5–12.
