Join us for an activity and music filled bike ride followed by a disco!
We’ll ride the shared pathways from the Waterview Community and Enviro Hub to Ōwairaka Connected Communities Hub in Murray Halberg Park, where there will be more music, hot drinks and kai available. Your most glittery outfits encouraged!
All ages are welcome (independent riding age recommended 9 years +) for this guided circuit of our 'hood', celebrating our amazing cycling infrastructure and great community.
Where do we meet?
We will start outside the Waterview Community Hub on the corner of Great North Road and Fir Street. If you arrive by car then there is parking there.
We’ll gather there at 4pm and once we have enough riders we’ll head off.
What do I need?
- Bike and helmet! (e-bikes are totally fine)
- Good vibes
- Any friends and family who want to join!

- Family-friendly, easy guided ride - please take care and follow the guide riders.
- Children are very welcome, but must come with an adult.
- Independent riders recommended from 9 years old.
- A basic first aid kit will be provided - please bring all your bike safety gear and a water bottle.
- Participants are responsible for their own safety.
- If we are rained out the rain date is Saturday 5 September.
Rules:
- Enjoy yourselves!
- Follow road rules.
- No alcohol please (kid-friendly)!
- Keep left on paths and always keep between the guide cyclists - they’re there to keep the group together.
- Watch for cars at driveways!
