This workshop is designed especially for adults who want to try something new in a friendly, supportive space. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.

  • Learn simple gelli plate monoprinting techniques
  • Play with colour, texture and layering
  • Build a stack of unique monoprints to take home
  • Finish with a final artwork that’s uniquely yours
  • All materials provided, including quality paints and rollers
  • Print on reclaimed paper - perfect for experimenting and reducing waste.

A relaxed, hands-on workshop where you get to explore, experiment and see what happens. All materials included.

Limited to 12 participants maximum so everyone gets plenty of support and time to experiment.

Two sessions available:

  • Tuesday 18 August, 6.15pm - 8.30pm
  • Tuesday 13 October, 6.15pm - 8.30pm

Your tutor, Alan Worman, is an artist and experienced educator who loves helping people discover their creative side. You may have seen him printing at Central Flea or through his work with Science in a Van.

With years of experience running engaging, inclusive workshops, Alan creates a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels welcome - whether you’re brand new to art or returning after a long break.

You’ll head home with artworks that you’re proud of - even if you don’t consider yourself 'artsy'. You'll also receive a zine, made by Alan, which recaps the ideas and skills you've explored through the session.

For ages 16+. This is a drug and alcohol free event.
