Join us for a guided heritage walk beginning at the Stillwater Boating Club and following the Te Ara Trail through one of Auckland’s hidden coastal landscapes.
This experience explores the maritime and community history of the Stillwater estuary, where waterways once served as transport routes for fishing, trade and everyday life. Led by local storytellers, the walk meanders through the layered history of the area – early settlement stories, the role of boating in shaping community identity, and the evolving relationship between people and the natural environment.
The journey concludes at a tranquil hut along the trail, offering space for reflection, lunch and shared conversation.
