Tempo Dance Festival presents Operamoth (Ctenophora Co.).
When do we hold things dear and when do we allow ourselves to let go?
Contorted postures and lashing appendages permeate three bodies as they melt towards collapse. Against the backdrop of a world turned sideways, how much pressure can our flow of life withstand?
Operamoth pries open fossilised remains in a gathering of movement, wax and sinew tethers. A tangle of holding self, holding together and holding nothing; folding audiences into a dreamlike vista.
Meet us at the crest of growth and departure, where exaggerated forms cascade and surreal pricklings scratch our tangible world.
“A real gem…Operamoth will stay in our minds.” - Deirdre Tarrant
