Rangatahi invited to join mentorship programme with southern local boards
Franklin, Manurewa, Papakura, Ōtara-Papatoetoe and Māngere-Ōtāhuhu will offer rangatahi places in a New Zealand-wide programme that sees local government members mentoring young Māori to enhance their leadership skills.
Wanted: Waterways to fence off
With more than 65 kilometres of rural waterway fencing behind it, Auckland Council’s Waterway Protection Fund is seeking new projects in Franklin and Papakura, with applications open from 8 February to 18 March.
