Anna Coddington
Anna Coddington is one of Aotearoa’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters. Coddington’s enchanting live performances have graced the stages of New Zealand’s most loved festivals and her songwriting ability, both in English and te reo Māori, has seen her nominated for numerous awards, including four times as a finalist in the APRA Silver Scroll Awards.
In 2024 Coddington released a bilingual album with a sound self-described as “Māori funk”. This latest album saw her writing a full body of work featuring te reo Māori for the first time in her career. The result is her finest work yet, an album which sounds truly original yet maintains her distinctive style.
