CHAII is a Persian-Aotearoa rapper, songwriter, and producer known for her wicked and luxurious blend of hip-hop with elements of classical and modern Persian music. She migrated from Iran to New Zealand at age eight and began producing music as a way to navigate her cultural identity, embracing the fusion of her heritage with electronic and hip-hop sounds. Her work has been featured in various media, including the FIFA and Apple campaigns, and her debut album, Safar, was released in 2024.
