Radio Rebelde
An exotic 12-piece musical collective based on Waiheke Island, Radio Rebelde are a family of brothers and sisters from different mothers (and different countries) with an ever-evolving line-up that features musicians from Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, France, England, Israel and – of course – Aotearoa.
This eclectic combo mixes an explosive musical Molotov cocktail of Caribbean rhythms, dub, reggae, ska and cumbia, blended with the wild energy of punk rock. The result… a party that makes everybody (literally anyone from two years old to 80 years old) dance their socks off!
