Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board has recently funded a host of renewal and upgrade projects in the local board area to benefit residents.

Recently completed upgrades include the renewal of the paths and park furniture at Māngere Mountain Education Centre as well as the Mascot Street walkway, and the changing rooms, roof and barbecue area at the Moana-Nui-a Kiwa Leisure Centre.

Traffic calming measures have been put in place with the installation of five speed bumps down the driveway of Kiwi Esplanade reserve to prevent illegal car racing and speeding vehicles.

Physical works on upgraded footpaths at McKinstry Park, Ashgrove Park, Yates Park, Ferguson Street Reserve and Mahunga Drive are in progress.
