The September issue of OurAuckland is out now, available online, delivered to homes across the region, and in cafes and transport hubs across Auckland.
This month, the magazine takes a look at our region's environmental heroes - the people and organisations working tirelessly to protect our native plants and animals, waterways, coastline, maunga, air quality, parks and reserves.
In the magazine we'll be speaking to these heroes, learning about the council's Pest Free Auckland 2050 strategy, and hearing from experts about what each of us can do to help the environment.

OurAuckland is delivered monthly to homes, businesses, libraries, council service centres, local board offices and selected transport hubs across the region.
There are 14 versions of the A4 magazine – providing news and events for the 13 Auckland Council wards and one version for areas spanning ward boundaries.
A large-print version is available at Auckland Libraries for people with sight impairments or those who prefer the larger format.
