Join online and enjoy your library membership anywhere, anytime
If you're looking for something to read or listen to this summer, you'll be happy to know that Auckland Libraries have made it a whole lot easier with quick, simple online sign-ups.
Simply head to aucklandlibraries.govt.nz and click join. In under five minutes, you'll have access to eBooks, audiobooks and magazines from your phone, tablet or laptop. Easy from the beach, deckchair, beside the pool or the comfort of your own home.
Once you have a membership, simply download the Libby by Overdrive app, login and you’ll instantly have access to over 300,000 eBooks and eAudiobooks – perfect for that summer chill time. Choose from bestsellers, book club favourites and books carefully curated by our librarians.
If you're looking for a magazine while you relax over summer, explore our other apps, including RBDigital and Press Reader which give you access to over 4000 magazine and newspaper titles including Rolling Stone, the Guardian, and Vogue.
You can also access heaps of online resources and databases, including Kura Heritage Collections Online to view historical maps, photographs and manuscripts
