Puketāpapa residents can enjoy a new playground on Saturday 5 April as part of a land exchange between the local board and Fletcher Living.
The Three Kings Quarry Development is situated behind Three Kings Reserve, and the local board has gifted the land to provide two new sportsfields and a playground.
The new space is called Taurangi, and also includes a accessway to stairwells and lift.
Local board chair Ella Kumar says Taurangi will be a welcome addition to Three Kings.
“It’s great we’re able to work with Fletchers and use this space to provide new spaces for the community to enjoy, and having a new playground and sportsfields will provide our locals with new local amenities that will be well-used and popular.
“We have a number of families that live in the area, and we’ll be working with sporting groups to ensure a number a variety groups can enjoy the new sportsfields.
