About Glendowie Community Centre
Glendowie Community Centre was built in 1974 and originally sited at the base of Mt Taylor. In its present position, set in Crossfield Reserve since 1986, the hall has been renovated inside and out at the start of 2019. Glendowie Community Centre is home to the Eastern Bays Toy Library, St Heliers After School Care, Focus Play Group and many other activities.
Venue hire
Glendowie Community Centre has numerous rooms that can hired for birthdays, celebrations, private events, and activities. The centre has been recently renovated and is equipped with a kitchen, so self-catering is available. There is a fenced playground adjoining the centre making it a great and safe place to host children’s birthday parties. Glendowie Community Centre has the capacity of 50 people and plenty of off street carparking available.
