About Grey Lynn Library Hall

The Grey Lynn Library Hall, adjoining the Grey Lynn Library was opened in 1924 by the then mayor, Sir James Gunson. Conveniently located on Great North Road and close to public transport, the hall offers a space for community groups to gather and take part in a range of different activities and events.

Our team

Our venue hire team is available Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6.30pm and Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.

Venue hire

The hall has a stage, wooden floors and a kitchen available for use. There is also off-street parking, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Grey Lynn Library Hall can be booked from 5am to midnight, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
