About Headquarters - Te Mahere
The 1930’s art deco RNZAF Headquarters building has been recently refurbished and re-purposed as a beautiful new community venue for the Hobsonville community. We offer a range of local activities for our community to get involved in throughout the year including workshops, markets, classes, community events and more.
A second venue, the Sunderland Lounge - Te Rere, is conveniently located across the road. It is available for hire separately or in conjunction with the Headquarters - Te Mahere. The Headquarters Park connects the two community venues with a basketball half-court, swing, seating and established shady trees.
Venue hire
Headquarters - Te Mahere is comprises of six rooms including a large lounge. The largest space can accomodate up to 50 people, and the whole venue 100 people. Venue hire is available 7 days a week, from 7am to 10pm. Wi-Fi, kitchen facilities, projector and television, private car park and a ramp for wheelchair/pram access are also available.

Office hours
The venues team for the Headquarters - Te Mahere are available Monday to Friday 9am to 2.30pm, except public holidays.
